I keep getting a Disapproved for my first Google Adword. It says the link doesn't work.

I checked the link and it works perfectly. Could it be that the link which appears at the bottom of the adword (in green) is causing the problem? The true link is www.domain.co.uk/blah.php and in green I've just put differentword as though its a short link. Hope that makes sense. Thanks Al.

Hi Alec,

The display URL, the URL you see in the ad, is irrelevant. All that counts is the final URL - that's the URL you tell Google to point your ad to, and that is where it goes.

Keep in mind that your URL needs to be accessible globally, because you never know which server Google will use to check its validity.
