Help... Site Suspended

My account was suspended for what seems to be a variety of reasons.... one after the other. The first that came to my attention was a credit card issue. I fixed that right away, got the email stating I'm all good then I got hit with a new video sales page I was promoting. I was asked to make numerous changes on several different phone calls I made, each of which took me further away from the original idea of the webpage I initially wanted to advertise but I said "ok, whatever it takes to make Google happy".

Now that is all done and I was told yesterday on my latest call to see why my account is still suspended, it's still suspended for another site I advertised which I am no longer promoting anymore. Weird but ok I guess.... I made the changes there too and now what?

Now I got this email 20 minutes ago, "While reviewing your account, our specialists identified suspicious behavior in the payment activity of this or your other AdWords accounts. To help prevent any unauthorized activity, we suspended your AdWords accounts."

Is any of this making sense? Is an ex-girlfriend of mine working at Google just trying to make my life hell? I really don't know what is happening and apparently no one at Google that I have spoken with does either. The suggested fixes and reasons for suspension are all so vague that it really left me scratching my head.

While I'm here.... are simple squeeze pages not allowed on Google ads? I was told that my page was too plain, not enough info, etc. so that has been changed but isn't that what a squeeze page is? A single page for a visitor to opt in?

Please someone..... anyone.... help me get my adwords account reinstated.

Thanks for being you.

Hi Michael,

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "squeeze page"? Can you post a link to an example?

Hi Laura,

I think Michael wants to say about Squeeze page - "A squeeze page is a landing page created to solicit opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers." better to say - "A squeeze page is a single web page with the sole purpose of capturing information for follow-up marketing; that means NO exit hyperlinks. Quality squeeze pages use success stories that the prospect would relate to when making a buying decision. They also use things like color psychology, catchy sales copy and keyword rich text placed. Some advanced marketers even use audio and video on their squeeze page. " For more details - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squeeze_page

Hello Michael,

It’s important to know that Google is very strict on the landing pages that are associated with ads. Google support resources have the full details on landing page policies. One policy that pertains to squeeze pages is the section on transparency and trustworthiness. Google requires that contact information and company info are available and easy to find on the landing page otherwise your ads can be disapproved and quite possibly the account could be suspended.

Another thing to think about in regards to paid search and squeeze pages is quality score (QS). Quality score is Google’s way to calculate how relevant keywords and even landing pages are to the search query. So when setting up a paid search campaign, be sure that it is highly relevant to what the squeeze page is dealing with. Otherwise, the QS tied to the landing page relevancy won’t be as high, which means you will be paying more for each click generated.
