Hi Everyone,

I noticed that some people are running Marijuana ads on Google Adwords in NY. Whereas according to AdWords policy's promoting Marijuana in any form is a violation it falls under recreational drug policy (

Promotion of substances that alter mental state for the purpose of recreation or otherwise induce "highs."

Examples: Cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, marijuana, cocaine substitutes, mephedrone, "legal highs" )

I don't understand why Google is allowing so many websites to run Marijuana ads. Below are some examples and Screen Shots.

Screen Shot 2017-04-03 at 8.31.08 PM.png Shot 2017-04-03 at 8.31.40 PM.pngScreen Shot 2017-04-03 at 8.32.37 PM.png Shot 2017-04-03 at 8.32.37 PM.png these guys are using Marijuana term in their ad and on the website. I don't know why Google is acting blind. This company claims to be a non-profit organization whereas they are just gaming the system by redirecting customers to their personal website using this link These guys are redirecting visitors to this URL

Google Adwords should make its stand clear on this kind of policy violations.

Yeah, they're going to get suspended eventually. Nobody has filed a complaint yet, but some competitor will sooner or later. You can't even advertise industry specific P.O.S. systems, stationary, signage, etc., etc.
