Hey guys,

I am trying to start up my own website for sale of digital items just for advertising on google. I came across 2 websites. http://www.thecelluliteanswer.com/the-symulast-method/the-symulast-method-c/  which ran a text ad and I was wondering whether is "type" of websites are allowed on google? Another one was http://www.kyleleon-customizedfatloss.com which ran a banner ad.

Can someone please guide me in the sense that should I model my site after this? As in, are they really allowed or did they manage to sneak into google?

Hello ;

The quality of the sites on GDN that Google "picks" for its placements listing has been a topic in a number of discussions on this community.

Check this one for example;

I'm not sure if that was the question, Moshe - I suspect the OP is referring to ads for these websites that appeared as Google ads. They should not have done given that wieght loss sites are not allowed to advertisse - but I could be misreading....

Well;... So this is the "flipped" version of the same question (=the "other side of the coin" question); how sites that violate  the policy "escape the radar" and approved to be promoted on Adwords?

You could file a complaint about a site that is suspected of  violating the Policy. It takes some time, but it is checked.
