Dynamic search ad - Competitor using brand name in ad title?

Hi there,

I've noticed a competitors ad which is using our brand name / event in the title. They said this was set up as a dynamic search campaign and the title is auto populating based on a users search term. Is this possible with the dynamic search ads and how can it be resolved if this is an incorrect use of the brand?

At this stage I've suggested to add the brand as a negative keyword to avoid confusion.

Thanks for your help.

First, I suggest you to make your brand terms as a TradeMark. For this, You have to register trademarks at your national office in your country. After registering the trademark. If you find anyone using your trademark then you need to file a complaint.

If you make your brand term trademark. No one can use your brand term in the ads.

Also, If your competitor is saying that ads are appearing because of DSA. DSA will only display the ads, when they have mentioned your brand terms in their website.

It seems, they are deliberately using your brands in the text ads.
