I am wondering why cannot I use domain A as a display and destination URL if A is forwarding visitors to the website B? We have a very cool domain name that explains what we do (, but I would not want to move the company's website there, and chose to forward visitors to without masking.

It turns out I cannot user in adwords. Is it a good policy?

Thank you, Katya

Hi Katya,

The reason for this policy, is we want users to have a clear idea of what website they'll be taken to when they click your ad.

If a users clicks an interesting ad for, it could be confusing to suddenly end up on some other website, and might even feel like they were tricked. That's why your ad's URLs need to represent the same website.
