Display ad disapproved due to editorial and professional requirements

My newly created display ad has been disapproved due to editorial and professional requirement reasons. However, to my eyes the ad looks simple, direct and very professional with complete accuracy and relevance to the destination url. Could this be an error by the Google review process?

Hi Scott,

Could you perhaps please post the elements in your ad copy that was turned down? So that we can avoid guesswork.... Smiley Happy

Negative, that's pretty rare.

Best,
Lakatos

Hi Lakatos,

Sorry for the brief detail in my initial post.
By element(s), do you mean the title of the disapproval reason, which is: "clarity and relevance"?

They are: headline, line 1, line 2, display url, and final (destination) url.

ok thank you.
Headline: Maths & Science Tuition Centre

I'm not sure about the line 1, line 2 for display ads but for Description I have: Professional tuition in Maths Physics Chemistry at Perth Academy of Science

Display url: www.sciencetuition.com.au
Destination url: www.sciencetuition.com.au

Thanks.

Hi Scott,

Maths & Science Tuition Centre
Professional tuition in Maths Physics
Chemistry at Perth Academy of Science
etc.

The characters in the above ad copy exceed character limits. They should be 25-35-35, spaces included.

Make sure your advert complies with this policy:

Text ads - Character limits

Thanks for the feedback Lakatos. Unfortunately Google didn't give an error response of "Ad exceeds character limits". The error response of lacking "clarity and relevance" completely confused me.

I'll reduce the characters and see if ad is accepted.

Cheers,
S.

Sorry Lakatos. I just realised from your post that you are referring to character limits of text ads. My ad is a display ad not a text ad. The text I've been using doesn't exceed the character limit in the description text box and I don't think is the issue.

I see, Scott. I was under the impression you meant a text ad for the Display Network. However, there are multiple types of display ads, which of them is yours? (See snip!)

It's an Image ad.
