Display Ads not approved: Destination not working

Hi,

I ran some display ads late last year, and the landing page was a brand's Facebook page. The first time I ran the ads, they worked fine. After 2 weeks i changed the images but kept the destination URL the same and but the ads were not approved with the destination not working error. I tried again and one ad got approved and the rest did not. I eventually got feedback that the ads were disapproved because of the Facebook login/sign up pop up.

Question: I'm about to run similar ads pointing to the same Facebook page, how do i get around this? My Facebook page is public with no age or country restrictions. Thank you.

Facebook can serve as a landing, though would be recommended.

I don't think the FB sign in pop up is the issue. FB users are constantly signed in. deseinatmnion not working means that the landing page is not accessible for crawling from all locations.

Thank you for your response. Below is what i received from support when I complained via my adwords account which makes me feel that I can only target a webiste and not a Facebook page with my ads. Is this the case now?

"You are targeting your facebook page, as a result when someone who is not registered with or logged into facebook they will be redirected to a login page, redirects are not allowed with adwords and as a result the ads have been disapproved. Now I realise one of your ads was mistakenly approved however this was just slipped through the net if you were to try and make a change to it you would see that it too would become disapproved. If you want your ads to become approved you must send them to your website page."

Hmm... This is interesting. Facebook is allowed as a landing page. I will have to check about that.

Facebook recently got aggressive about having users signed up or signed in. Yes like Pinterest. It won't allow you to scroll down without login on a fan page. Sometimes, it will even rediect you to login page. If it is continues, I am afraid AdWords will allow Facebook page as ad's final URL.

Thanks
