Hi,

Google has disapproved my ads for the above reason, however my website (www.emojilottery.com) doesn't involve gambling or the user paying for anything so I'm unsure what to do. I've spoken with support over the phone and all they can tell me is that 'its our policy' and it can't change. I've filled in the necessary forms Google provides but haven't heard anything for a number of weeks now.

However, i've seen similar website using Adwords as a marketing tool so maybe i'm missing a trick. I'm trying to advertise in the UK and US, if anyone can help me it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Matt

Unfortunately, you are not going to be able to advertise this website with Adwords.  The policy is pretty clear. Online games played for money or prizes is not permitted. Whether or not you are accepting payments from your users doesn't matter.  You can read more about the specifics of this policy here: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6018017?hl=en&ref_topic=1626336

The Reps were correct. Lottery  (of any kind) is not allowed unless you are  certified.

Social gambling (as  social lottery) is currently in beta.

>>"Social casino games" are simulated gambling games where there is no opportunity to win anything of value (such as money or prizes). Some examples include poker, slots, bingo, lotteries, sports betting, betting on races, and other card games and casino games."

Thanks. I'm not sure we fall under this category but I've applied regardless. Failing this, it looks like we won't be able to use AdWords to promote our site, which is disappointing!

Good luck Matthew, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing at Google.

I was approved and my ad ran 4 days for my horse racing website.

I changed 3 words in my ad to make it better and it went under review and has been disapproved

because of the change.  THERE IS NO GAMBLING ON MY SITE.  (and racing is legal in all 50 states). It was supposed to be fixed on Monday morning guaranteed.  It is Wednesday and despite numerous calls and promises I can't anything done with Google.  They should thank the Lord that they are so big that they don't have to give a damn about people.  All i do is sell a daily race report and Google keeps labeling my site as gambling.
