Campaign malware suspended, but Google Web Tools shows site is clean!?

Google is contradicting itself. The email I received says they have suspended our Adwords campaign because of malware on our site, yet when I log into Webmaster Tools, it says the site is clean. As a result, I do not even have a machanism to ask for a review.

The Adwords campaign has indeed been suspended, but there is no indication in Adwords or Webmaster Tools as to why this occurred. For example, on the the Malware tab of Webmaster Tools, it shows a longstanding clean bill of health for the site.

There is no information about what page or link might have caused the issue. Because the site is reported clean, the button to request a review does not appear (the instruction say that sucha  button should appear if the account is malware suspended).

What to do?

Site is www.icefieldtools.com

Hello and welcome,

Your site is still infected because I tried opening the home page and browser gave me a warning of malware.

It's better that you first clean the website, make it malware free and then re-submit the site so that Google can review it. You can fill up this form after you have taken all the steps to make sure site is malware free:

Hope that helps!

Thanks pankaj1782 for the reply. A few questions for you:

(1) Which browser are you using - for me, Firefox, Chrome, and IE all report no problem with the site.

(2) As I mentioned in my initial post, I have gone through the procedures Google suggests for malware detections, but at all stages, Google themselves say that the site is CLEAN. i.e., no malware. So, I cannot figure out what file or link might be causing issues. For example, I invite you to try http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?hl=en&site=http://www.icefieldtools.com to see that Google is reporting no issues.

(3) Because Google's Webmaster Tools says the site is clean, I am not even given the option to resubmit the site for review. In other words, the button under the Malware tab of Webmaster Tools is not there. Only a message saying "Google has not detected any malware on this site."

Hi Erik,

I opened your website in chrome for the first time and it showed me the malware issue. So that means there is still some infected file as per my experience. I would suggest you to check each and every file closely and clean it. And then follow the link I gave above to report it to Adwords.

You can also call them and explain your situation: http://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1385067
