Auto Downloads in Sitelinks Extensions

I'm not certain this practice is legitimate.  I notice an advertiser in Search utilizing sitelinks extensions whereby clicking the links gives a dowloadable file to my desktop (a .exe on Windows).  There is no landing page.  In fact, after clicking the link, I remain at Seach.

Try this: in the US, seach combine pdfs - the wonderware advertiser is using this practice.  I reported the matter to Google on Nov. 15th, but the ad is still running.  Is this something in Beta?

Thanks,
Marlon

Hello;
This is a clear violation of the Policy;
"No download links: Clicking a sitelink should never initiate a download"

Moshe, thanks for pointing this out. I can't understand why Google is so slow to move on this . Almost 4 days ago, this matter was reported to Google via phone and they said it was a clear violation of their terms. It's still live, take a look: http://i.imgur.com/Whhgekj.png

Hello Moshe,

I've reported this violation via the form you cited above twice. I've called Google and they said a Rep is working on this with their compliance department. Now, two weeks later, the advertiser is still violating the sitelinks extension terms.

Can you in any way escalate this matter to Google?

We can escalate specific unique cases that "fall between the cracks". This is a "calsic violation", and should be reported using the system. I agree that the process takes time.
