Trying to get my Stripper ad to show, tons of compeditors, so I know it's possible... I got one form of my text ad's approved.. but still not showing the ad, any suggestions?

I try to see if ads are showing, and it says "

  • An Adult classification is preventing your ad from showing."

Hi Kerrick,

Usually that message appears when you have a combination of "normal" keywords, and an ad that is has been approved as "Adult".

Check the status of your ads - are they "Approved (Non-Family Safe)" or "Approved (Adult)". Depending on your landing page (which in this context, could be borderline) you could have one of those two classifications. If your ads are "Approved (Adult)" then you will need to have "Adult" keywords.

I hope this helps,
Kathleen

Hi Kerrick,
Your landing page is full of images that are considered "Adult". If you review the Adult Policy, and update your landing page, you can ask for your ads to be re-reviewed and they will more than likely have the status of "Non Family Safe" which would allow them to run.

The alternative, is to update your keywords to make them more adult. This usually proves more difficult and I would suggest updating your landing page.

Here is the policy for you to review: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6023699?rd=1

Ok, I had the set landing page as http://lasvegasadultentertainment.net/category/private-las-vegas-strippers/

But I am thinking the nudity is gonna cause an issue, so what if I adjust the landing page to:
http://lasvegasadultentertainment.net/hire-las-vegas-strippers and then just adjust the sidebar images to contain no nudity... do you think that would pull it off?

There needs to be 100% no nudity, and even at that I cannot tell you for sure. I would suggest changing the landing page and contacting the AdWords Support team who will send for re-review for you.

I have adjusted the page to have 100% no nudity and adjusted the adwords ad with the new landing page http://lasvegasadultentertainment.net/hire-las-vegas-strippers it now says Eligible and I'll update you if it gets approved or Non Family Safe.

Thanks for all the help, fingers crossed
