Adwords Ad Disapproved: PYV Unacceptable Content

I am trying to create an adwords ad for a video campaign that lands on a youtube video watch page, but the ad continues to be disapproved.

I have tried changing the keywords, I have tried changing the thumbnail, I have tried changing at least a dozen different things within the ad but I keep getting a disapproved message saying:

"Adwords Ad Disapproved: PYV Unacceptable Content"

What does PYV mean and how is it unacceptable content? The problem report is not helpful at all. All the problem report shows is at least a dozen variations (1 for each edit I have made I presume) of the text below.

Any help figuring out why this ad is being disapproved would be greatly appreciated.

Hello;
My understanding:  "PYV" is an abbreviation for "Promote Your Video". And there is probably an issue with the content you are promoting. But; I might be wrong;

Thanks, PYV is very likely to stand for Promote Your Video, I hadn't thought of that.

So the issue is not with the ad itself but the video I'm trying to promote. That is still strange as I have read over the Youtube community guidelines and ad policies and don't see how my video could violate any of those policies.

It would be nice if they could be more specific about the reason the ad/video was disapproved. I would also like to know if this is an automated disapproval or if it's a human verification that is disapproving the video as I'm not sure what is wrong with the content being promoted.

Hello again;
Your video is violating the "violence" section of the Policy;

While I would agree that to a certain extent any first person shooter game is "violent" by nature, I do not think that it "promotes violence" as stated in that policy. The fact that their are dozens of videos that are promoted which feature content from the same genre seems to allude to that not being the case.

A couple years ago, I tried to make an "Execution" video channel on Youtube claiming it was news, and it is and was news. They gave me a reprieve and then under further consideration, they deleted the channel and a Google exec told me this has nothing to do with us putting videos like that up, and them allowing it. It's advertisers who will complain their content was used on that type of website. Liberals are now pushing for bloggers to be banned from having ad words, and labeling them fake, than the main stream media lying about polls and everything else, which was the real fake news. If anything, you can report on something without connecting the content to your site. That's not the same thing as putting them on Youtube and thinking you will circumvent this policy.

It all comes down to people who spend for advertising on google and the amount of complaints that would  and probably has happened if they allowed all kinds of things. Facebook for a time allowed those videos too, but now they ban.

I will be testing the waters again myself not with executions but this whole "Fake News" stuff. Tinfoil hats were right in this election and everyone is blaming Russia instead of voters voting against 50 more years of failed polities. Wait until the GOP fills up with religious minorities in the next two years to compete in city offices. They will lie about it and then even when caught lie more.

So, take the approach that customers of Google do not want their content on some sites. Moshe there was on the money with that link. jimtdavis@gmail.com is my address and I am working on my own music site now for affiliates and Google adsense and others. Just put in the subject "Google Adwords post" and that will let me see you right away in my inbox.

Still, keep trying and don't butt heads with google or they can actually ban you for real. They won't go after you for one violation unless it's porn. At least, they didn't to me.

Thanks for the link. I just replied about my experience and my contact with google on this matter of the limits of free speech. Shalom
