I'm looking to run retargeting ads on behalf of a dental practice. Part of their site contains content for cosmetic dentistry, and our retargeting pixel was disabled due to policy. I've removed the pixel from the pages talking about cosmetic dentistry and would like to resubmit the retargeting pixel for approval.

1. Can I create a retargeting ad for this client - where half of their business is cosmetic dental work, and the other half is high-end dentistry?

2. How can I resubmit the retargeting pixel for approval?

Thanks.

Hi Derric,

I think remarketing will still be unavailable for you because:

1) Google looks at your entire site, not just pages that have the pixel on

2) Non-cosmetic dental work is still medical, and pretty much anything medical can't be remarketed.

There are non-Google remarketing services that aren't as strict.

Hi @Derric H,

You should be ok for most of the ads you would like to run with your remarketing lists with General dentistry.  Unfortunately, cosmetic dentistry falls under a violation of the Health & Medical Information clause for interest based ads. Untitled.jpg

I would consider general dentistry to fall under "health condition-related services or procedures".

We have had general dentists with no hint of cosmetic words on their site have their remarketing lists automatically disabled.

Rob is correct. Promoting general dental procedures under the umbra of general dental practitioners should be approved. I would set a separate landing page for the re-marketing campaign.
