Dear AdWords Community,

We work to review all ads as quickly as possible, usually within three business days. Currently our internal systems are facing technical issues which will amount to some delay in your ads being reviewed. Engineering has been made aware of this issue and are working on a resolution. Please expect an update by the end of this week.

Thanks,

Zee

Zee,

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Is there any way to tell if any of the issues involve erroneously listing of "Trademark" issue?

The reason I ask is that I recently had an ad disapproved do to a potential Trademark issue.

Upon reviewing the ad, there is NO trademark issue at all (not even close) so I resubmitted and it's currently pending.

Thanks!

From engineering, apologies for the review delays.  We think we have things under control now.  It may take a couple days for the human review teams to catch up, however.  They're working hard.  (As are we in engineering.  Lots of sleepless nights over the last week.)

RPquest: It's unlikely that the system problems over the last week would have caused any trademark problems.  Can you post some specifics?  Your ad text and visible URL would probably be enough.

Hi RPquest,

I agree with Laura's resoning. The ad being erroneously reviewed for trademark is unrelated to the current issues. The issue might go away once the ads are approved. If not, post back, and we'll investigate.

Thanks,

Hi Zee & Laura,

I had resubmitted my ad the other day without changing anything as I did not see ANY reason for it being disapproved due to a trademark issue.

I just check a few moments ago and the ad has since been approved.

Strange...but as long as it's working Smiley Surprised)

Thank you both for your help.

Hi Charvi, just a quick question concerning the 3 business days approval process. No matter how many times i educate my clients about the need to allow for the 3 days until the campaigns go live, they still send me from time to time immediate urgent requests for short period campaigns (Usually 4 to 5 day campaigns) for some event they'd like to promote. My problem is trying to get these campaigns (Ads) approved before the 3 days period in order to still accommodate their requests, otherwise by the time the ads are approved, the event is almost over and i end up not being able to spend as much as i like to get them maximum exposure on a short notice. My question is why doesn't Google approve the ads faster compared to other networks, some as big as Google, who always get their ads approved the same day? and second, is there a way to prioritize short campaigns that don't have a wide window of operation similar to mine? Thanks for your help!
