Hello, I am trying to start up my google adwords advertising, however the first trial ad I have put on has been disapproved (within minutes). The reason stated is 'Site Policy' and I was wondering if anyone could help to determine exactly which rule has been broken so the appropriate changes can be made to come in line with the policy. The ad dissaproved was

Hello howdoifind,

Your site clearly violates the bridge section of AdWords policy

Google AdWords doesn't allow ads that promote bridge pages. A bridge page, also known as a doorway page, is a web page created for the main purpose of sending visitors to a different site.

Bridge pages offer little or no unique content and are considered low value to users. Affiliates that display the same characteristics may also be considered bridge pages. Bridge pages can also be sites that drive traffic from AdWords-compliant content to non-compliant content.

Hello howdoifind,

MoshTLV has given a great link below and some nice info on the Bridge Page policy.

If you are able to make any changes to your site and you think it is compliant with the Bridge page policy this link here will help you resubmit a review request for your website.

Hope this helps

Hi howdoifind,

Welcome to Adwords Community!

I went through the landing page of your website, thanks for sharing it.

Site policies refer to the Advertising Policies that Google use to evaluate your landing page (and overall website). If your landing page or website contains something that Google does not allow, like malware or illegal products etc.

If your ad gets disapproved for violating this policy, try reviewing the following tips to help resolve your issue. GOogle advertising policy for dating sites and adult services -

Are you an affiliate trying to generate leads from your clicks? To preserve comprehensive & unique user experience, the landing page needs to be "OWNED". The website does not comply with the Specific Policy : Bridge Page. This policy ensures that users remain on the same domain throughout their entire session. You might want to consider ( The most suitable advertising platform for such goal is the Social Media Marketing).
