Ad Disapproval

Dear Community,

After several mails sent to the Google tech support trough the 'Disapproved ads and policy questions' form and receiving no feedback at all, I would like to ask here something that has been bothering me for three days. After having made an ad for a new campaign for one of my clients, and ad which was in no way different then the previous I made for a similar campaign (apart from the name obviously) is now being disproved three days in a row. The reason stated being 'Punctuation and symbols'.

Now, neither does my ad contain gibberish even though it uses two different alphabets (for geographic/target specific reasons), neither does the landing page differ from the url promoted in the ad (although it is a sub-page of the original). Everything is in accordance with the rule, as far as I can see, but the ad keeps getting disprove.

Could anyone tell me if it is possible for someone from customer support to help me out with this issue, or do I have to keep making wild guesses until I get it right?

Thank you in advance for your quick response,

Kind regards

Dejan

Hi Media,

Have you tried calling support? I've run into similar situations and calling support has helped quite a bit. They can help you troubleshoot the issues and if needed, refer your account to policy specialists etc...'

Give it a shot.

Hello Dejan,

Thanks for your question.

If you can provide us the ad text then I will be able to help you. I am hoping that you might have used exclamation mark twice in the ad text which could be the reason for ad disapproval.

Thanks,
Rahul

Thanks so much to both of you, for your helpful suggestions. And that was a great guess Rahul. It appears the exclamation marks were the reason for the disapproval of the ad, and so the problem is now fixed. And I finally got the response from customer support, so it appears all is well now.

Have a great day,
Dejan
