Account suspended -- have no idea why

I set up a new adwords account.  I've never used adwords before.

 

I was first sent an email that my ads were disproved.

 

Reason: "Site Policy: We've determined that your site doesn't comply with our
site policies. Because of this, any ads promoting this site have been
disapproved."

 

I was told I would receive an email explaining why, but that either never came (they sent me many emails and if one was meant for this purpose or not) or was extremely vague.

 

I sent a request through their form to explain why, as the reasons were extremely vague.

 

I continued to get a barrage of emails each one with very vague information about site policy and T's and C's.

 

I then get an email (middle of the night) that my account has been suspended with no information but  "We periodically review accounts for security purposes and to verify billing information."

 

I call in the morning, but I can't get a live person, and when I enter my account number, I get a recording saying they won't talk to me until I fix the problem and the call ends.

 

I do various research and determine I could have any of the following issues and corrected them:

 

1. Duplicate content: I set up a bunch of landing pages all with the exact same content with the only change being the URL and the title.  I thought this was the best practice for improving quality score, but maybe not.  CORRECTION: changed all ads and keywords to point to one single landing page, instead of using multiple landing pages

2.  Not enough quality.  CORRECTION: i added a few blog posts to my blog

3.  Duplicate content: I split off from another consulting company where I set up one page that was advertising a certain service I offered.  I put that exact same page up with my new site with no changes (i had permission for this, and the other site took the page down).  this was not used in any of my adwords ads or campaigns.  CORRECTION: I took the page down

4.  Spammy ads: a freelancer from India set up my campaign and i realized my ads looked very robotic and spammy.  CORRECTION: i deleted all ads and made one single ad that had natural english and didn't appear spammy.

5. Phone number in ad: the ads included my phone number.  I realize this is a no non.  CORRECTION: I took out the phone number

6. Looking through my account, it said it was unable to verify my billing info.  I wondered if that was the cause for the suspension (maybe it's not related to the ad disapproval?) because the email that said the account was suspended mentioned billing info not site policy.  CORRECTION: added second credit card.

 

I did these corrections and resubmitted.  Within an hour I got two emails.  One seemed to be just an auto-generated response to tell me they received my submission.  The second seemed to be the answer that they had reviewed it and still found I was not in compliance, redirecting me to the same vague information they had already sent me many times.

 

I search the net for this kind of thing and I'm shocked to see I actually might be screwed with no hope of resolving this?  Very strange.

Hmm...interesting...

You are offering a professional consulting programing services. Seems to me that the Google bot (scanning the site) was "confused" with IT support services web pages.

I will refer the case to Google.

Please run a search for account suspension using the community search for the past 7-10 days. You'll find many similar cases to yours. We have had so many...Youl'll find many case studies and solutions similar to yours.

I've spent several hours in the last two days researching this, including doing what you suggest and searching this forum.  I honestly have no idea how to proceed.  Everyone else I read about seems to have been able to identify what they need to change.

 

All I have is:

I go from there to see what they mean, and I see a bullet point list of 7 or 8 items.  As I mention in my original post, I did the best I could to guess at what it might mean, fixed it, and resubmitted to Google, but they sent me the same response.

Kindly go through this too.. It might help as you mentioned that the content was copied... even though you had a permission but bots dont know that Smiley Happy
