Google, We own a website and opened a new account in September 2013. We submitted new ad campaigns and were approved after updates to our website. We ran the campaign till September 28 and paused them on this date to redesign the campaigns. We submitted thru an agent three new ad campaigns for approval on Oct 21, 2013. Two of the adds were approved and one add was disapproved. However, we received notification from our retarget advertisement company that your account has been suspended. We called up google to inquire exactly what was the reason our account was suspended for?. We receive no proper explanation from the support team. We logged into our account and it showed that your account was permanently suspended for repeated violation. We are at a loss to understand how we have violated any terms of Google’s Policy when: 1. Retarget advertising was duly approved by Google and no changes were made to it, 2. Adwords campaign were paused since September 28, 2013 and the new campaign had not started. We would seek help in reinstating the account and are willing to correct any issues that Google can point out to us.

Hi Renu S,

The primary concern of this space is our user’s safety. Per the User Safety Policy, we do not allow businesses that we feel may pose a harm to our users. We have longstanding policies against ads, websites, and businesses that appear to be generally deceptive or misleading to our users.

We take many factors into consideration when assessing User Safety compliance. Our review is extensive and we cover a number of areas to ensure we are reaching an accurate conclusion. In many cases these issues are not fixable, as the fundamentals of the business itself is the primary concern.

As always, you can contact support via email or submit a suspension appeal here. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
